The managing director of the Authority, Jan Pracha\u0159, is currently unable to carry out his management responsibilities, therefore Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade for Nuclear Energy, Tom\u00e1\u0161 Ehler, has been temporarily entrusted with the management of SURAO. The Authority continues to fulfil all its obligations, and to perform all the activities required of it, according to the Atomic Act and other legal regulations, government resolutions and decisions of the respective supervisory bodies including the safe operation of existing repositories and preparations for the construction of the Czech deep geological repository (DGR).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Czech Radioactive Waste Repository Authority (SURAO) hereby announces a recent change to its organisational structure.
